Chromatic Gate is a sliding block puzzle with one rule that makes everything harder than it looks: a block can only leave through a gate of its own colour. Drag pieces around a crowded board, work out which one has to move first, and thread each of them out through the right exit. The blocks themselves are the obstacles, so almost every level is really a question of order rather than dexterity, and the piece blocking your path is usually the one you needed to move three steps ago. Forty-five hand-built levels ramp up steadily, adding tighter boards, more colours and shapes that can only turn one way. Nothing is timed, so you can sit and stare at a layout until it clicks. Everything you see is generated in code, with no downloaded models, textures, fonts or audio, so the game loads quickly and stays crisp.
